Hey manzi, I read somewhere that eggward's already on training for QR.

Will try to apply too if there will be another OD in SG around Sept/Oct.

5'2" for international airlines and 5'4" for domestic..

the truth is.... mas mahigpit sa domestic and mas mahirap makapasok..
you will also see better quality of crew members sa domestic airlines compaired sa international..  kaya mas hanga ako sa mga taong nakakapasok sa domestic airlines....

My sister is a flight stewardess for 10 yrs now (or more).

To sir Manzi - I would be submitting my resume to her.  What are the chances of getting hired if you know someone who works there?  Ive read that you were able to help one of our forumers to get in.

I stand 5'10" and now at 180 lbs (started at 186 5 days ago).  Aiming for 175 to atleast meet the requirements.  How do they measure weight as proportionate to height, is it by looks or through the use of weighing scale?

I can communicate in english, have good set of teeth, fair complexion and a swimmer.  What are the other things that might hinder me to pass the application?

Many thanks!

hey bro.. magandang araw.. 1st of all, hindi ko pinasok sa airline namin yung mga MH forumers.. ginuide ko lang sila ng husto pero syempre, sila pa rin ang nagpasa sa sarili nila thru the interviews and tests...

based on your description, qualified ka nman as an applicant (regardless na yun kung may backer ka or wala).honestly, i myself dont know the real requirements of airlines with regards to their crew. kasi nung nag-aapply ako, may mga kasabay ako na mga modelo-looking and really articulate pero hindi sila sinuwerte.. i think the recruiters look for something they call "crew material" features..  isang tingin or kausap lang nila sa yo malalaman na nila kagad yun, if you have it or not. try ka lang bro, just be yourself and put customer service into your heart and mind.. im sure, papasa ka rin..  :)
