HELP. Flight attendant - anyone?
« on: July 17, 2007, 03:29:25 am »
Anyone who has a friend/relatives work in this industry?

Ive been dying to get this job but I havent tried applying. Im scared that I'll be rejected. I dunno what are the concrete requirements to make myself prepared.

Im wearing braces, but my teeth were all set. I can ask my dentist to remove these. But will it be BAWAS points once they see me wearing braces? I dont want these removed unless I got the job.

I stand 5'11" weighs 175lbs. Dunno if my height is proportional to my weight.

I know how to swim. Fair and clear complexion. Above ave looking.

Theres an opening this week. Im trying to prepare myself but If you could offer me help before the interview, it will be appreciated.

I badly need to shift career. I dont wanna stuck forever in a callcenter industry. Thanks

Ey Prince!

I used to work for PAL.  Looks like you qualify.  You may have to let go of the braces though.  Anyways, PM me for further details.  I'm helping out one of the members here to get that job actually.  You can go together.  Don't worry, the need for Flight Attendants are ongoing....we talkin' about PAL or Northwest? Lemme know, thanks! Live Well!   8)

pero di ko sineryoso
at saka may swimming class ako nung high school
i think.. interest
wala ako nun
so.. meaning, wala sa yaman or hirap
maraming mahirap na ang galing mag swimming
have you been to puerto galera? yung mga batang nanlilimos tapos ang galing magswimming?
sabihin mo naman di ka pa nakapunta dun sa galera kasi mahirap ka.. unahan na kita hahaha

Ok, to ward off your presumptions as to whether you should have your scar removed or should know how to swim, here's what I can say-YOU DON'T.
It'd be a plus if you have clear skin and know how to swim but being a Flight Steward (yeah that's what they call male Flight Attendants, to be politically correct, ehehe) is more than that.  The job is great but can be taxing at times especially if you get a couple of domestic flights in a day or be in a 12 hour flight to LA the next.  Add to that, passengers of varied personalities that you have to deal with at boarding and deplaning.  But it's all worth it.  I can say this is a great job since it gives you the world for free and you get paid well too!  The training is really gruelling and rigid, about 3 months of brain battery, but once done, you'll reap your fruits!  Also, no need to remove your braces but let 'em know that you're willing if need be.  Swimming will be taught (for most part, you'll be using a lifevest during training) as well.  Yeah, I know hiring is continuous.  All I can say is, just do it...NOW! You may not get the same opportunity if you while away much your time.  I'm speaking from my experience as a former Flight Steward of PAL. Live Well!  8)
